Orange Crush win again!

In a tough battle in the 35 degree heat, our very own top scorer lead the Orange Crush to a slim 2-1 victory over the Green Gators. All of the super action shots below are courtesy of Bumpa.

It's tough to keep the kids focused at the best of times,
but tonight was especially hard with all the bikini-clad ladies near by.

Drew's goal!

Drew's comment: "I kinda wish he wasn't on their team"

Meanwhile Kai had more than enough fun ignoring her brother and playing on the swings.

First camping trip of 2007

We headed out to our usual spot at Fintry with the Cormiers this last weekend to celebrate Bobbi's 31st birthday. It rained a bit but it was really warm & the kids didn't seem to notice. Not too much swimming going on, but a lot of marshmellow roasting and cake eating took its place so everyone was happy.

Oh, and baby #3 is definitely making itself known these days. Already proving that it is ready to compete for attention with DK, I am really expanding & getting strong, constant jabs all day and night from him/her. Here are the latest gut shots from 19-23 weeks.

Happy Tappin' Forever

"I didn't like that I wasn't the only one on stage."

This was Kai's only complaint about the hectic day that was her first year-end show. She loved the hair, make-up, costume, attention, big stage, bright lights...everything! Grant, Drew and I spent the entire performance laughing & crying at her confidence and elephant-like grace. Nothing better! She was truly comfortable with the whole thing - definitely in her element - and she is counting down until next years' show.

Tomorrow is the BIG day!

This will be a quick post because tomorrow is really going to be the newsworthy day & I'm sure they'll be one or two photos to go along with Kai's stage debut.

This last week was a painful one for me as I had a real screw literally screwed into my jawbone by my loving orthodontist. Thanks to an eye tooth that doesn't want to move I now have a titanium screw in my mouth - adding to the overall appeal of my braces. For those who haven't tried it, really there is nothing like having someone stand over you screwing a metal object into bone with full force. So fun!

Anyway...

Here are some quick photos from yesterday at the park.

Drew took this one of Kai - he makes his momma proud with his good eye for composition!
